Amanda Hernandez

Amanda Hernandez is a senior at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley studying Environmental Science with a concentration on Environment and Society (graduating summer 2024). She will be pursuing a master's degree in Agriculture, Environmental, Sustainability Sciences beginning in Fall 2024. Her thesis and research interests will examine coastal community resilience. She is currently a research assistant to a project identifying unique challenges to adaptation in border regions. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, and remains up to date in art and fashion.
