Nina Yen Vo

Nina Vo is a current student at Grinnell College in Iowa majoring in Biochemistry and Mathematics. As a Mississippi native, she grew up around the Gulf of Mexico and has always been interested in nature and aquatic conservation. After interning at a marine mammal research institute, she shifted gears and jumped into interning at Inks Dam National Fish Hatchery. This experience pushed her to investigate a more fisheries directed career which has led her to the DFP at the Northeast Fishery Center. Outside of this, she enjoys doing ceramics, learning to woodwork, and taking long walks.
